The Deep Midnight-Violet Wild Berry of the European Forests

Unlike cultivated North American blueberries (which have white or pale green inner flesh), the wild Nordic Bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus) is intensely pigmented deep midnight-purple throughout its entire fruit pulp, staining hands and lips with antioxidant anthocyanins.

Standardized Bilberry extracts (e.g. 25% anthocyanosides by HPLC) contain a precise matrix of Delphinidin, Cyanidin, Petunidin, Peonidin, and Malvidin glycosides:
