  • Thyroid Metabolic Stimulation: Stimulates the conversion of thyroxine ($T4$) into the active metabolic hormone triiodothyronine ($T3$), supporting basal metabolic rate.

2. Purification Process (Shodhana)

In classical Ayurveda, raw guggul resin must undergo Shodhana (boiling in Triphala decoction) to remove harsh insoluble resins before internal consumption.
